As part of our efforts to improve the performance of the e-conomic accounting software, we will add new and faster servers to our setup. The new servers will especially provide better performance when doing “heavy” tasks such as creating and bulk-booking invoices, performing imports and running reports.

We will add the servers in January to ensure improved performance in the period leading up to the Danish VAT deadline in the beginning of February. So there will be a maintenance window on:

Saturday January 26, 4pm (CET) – Sunday January 27, 6am (CET)

Saturday January 26, 9pm (CET) – Sunday January 27, 6am (CET)

Admittedly, this period is quite long, and even though it’s unlikely that we will need to use the full maintenance window, we would rather use less time than estimated than the other way around.

Note that you should mostly be able to work during the maintenance window. However, there will possibly be some short intervals where you could be logged off the system and will have to log on again.

Also note that we will shut down access to e-conomic completely for a maximum of 1 hour. We will keep you informed about this on the login page by changing the warning sign from yellow to red. We will of course do our best to keep this no access period as short as possible.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by this server upgrade, but hope that you will appreciate the improved system performance that will come from this. We expect to have one more maintenance window this year, but that should take place during the night.
