e-conomic always strives to utilize the best technology possible to deliver high quality service to our customers – currently we are undergoing the process of splitting our database to prepare for a move to Azure.
This transition has multiple benefits for the future operation of e-conomic, such as performance gains and better scalability, but the work will naturally affect the operation of our services – including – web application, mobile apps and API.
Unfortunately this process cannot be conducted in one go, therefore we are going to handle the structural changes in a series of fixed time slots every Wednesday between 20:00 – 21:00 until the end of the year.
First service window is scheduled for Wednesday, September 28 from 20:00 to 21:00.
We do not expect the service work to take full advantage of the service window and a properly configured API integration with automatic retries should get back to normal operation faster. Our one hour service window is reserved in regards to any unforeseen circumstances that may require further maintenance work.
The planned maintenance work will not directly affect customer data and all services will be fully operational after the service window.
